1952 Nash Statesman Country Club

Finally the huge Nashes offered their first hardtop models when the all-new ’52s were introduced in March 1952. All Nash hardtops were titled Country Club. The Statesman models used the same body as the Ambassadors from the windshield back, but had a shorter front end and a shorter wheelbase (114-1/4 in. vs. 121-1/4 in. for the Ambassador). The powerplant was an 88 hp inline six.

The mid-year Ambassador Special introduced the new 190 HP V-8 designed and built by American Motors to replace the Packard V-8 previously used in the Ambassador models.
